Who We Are
Nottinghamshire LMC comprises up to 18 elected members, representing more than a thousand GPs, plus co-opted representatives of practice managers and GP registrars. These GPs serve a patient population of approximately 1.1million. The LMC comprises three constituencies based on the PCT boundaries of NHS Nottingham City, NHS Nottinghamshire County, and NHS Bassetlaw. Nottinghamshire LMC Ltd meets as a company six times a year in closed session. 'Open' meetings take place six times a year at Nottingham City Hospital and are attended by GPs, practice managers, PCT representatives and other guests. Constituency meetings occasionally take place in Bassetlaw and Rushcliffe.
