The Nottinghamshire LMC Ltd secretariat currently comprises 12 members of staff.

Michael Wright
Position: Chief Executive

Michael joined the LMC in September 2013 as Head of Liaison. On 1 April 2016, he became Chief Executive following the retirement of Chris Locke at the end of March 2016.
Michael is an experienced medical manager with previous roles in locum practice management, Clinical Commissioning Group, GP practice management, project management in the out-of-hours arena and in a previous life Michael served in the Royal Air Force within the medical branch.

Helen Shuker
Position: Director of Services

Helen is Director of Services for Nottinghamshire LMC Ltd and its subsidiary company, Practice Support Services (PSS). Her role involves overseeing the strategic development and day to day operations of the services offered through the LMC and PSS including the national LMC Buying Group and the Phoenix Programme.
Helen was previously PSS’s Head of Operations and Nottinghamshire LMC’s Head of Communications. Before joining the LMC, she worked for a large membership organisation as its press officer/head of press relations and before that spent some years working as a broadcast journalist and editor.

Lucy Cassidy
Position: Practice Liaison Officer

Lucy joined Nottinghamshire LMC in March 2018 after working for 10 years in the Independent Sector in a variety of administrative roles, including the GP Liaison Officer at Woodthorpe Hospital.
With a Masters Degree in Public Health and having worked previously as a Clinical Audit/Research and Development Facilitator, Lucy hopes to bring this knowledge and experience to her liaison officer role.

Stu Hague
Position: Practice Liaison Officer

Stu joined Nottinghamshire LMC in September 2019 after serving 22 years in the Royal Air Force, undertaking varying Practice Management roles in primary and Occupational Health, to co-ordination of strategic Aeromedical Evacuations.
With a BSc(Hons) in Health & Social Care management, Stu hopes to bring his extensive healthcare knowledge and experience to his role as Practice Liaison Officer.

Lois Sedgwick
Position: Liaison Support Officer

Lois joined the Nottinghamshire LMC in October 2019 after previously working as a Business Administrator for the Centre for Health and Disability Assessments.
Lois’ main duties at the LMC include providing administrative and secretarial support to the Local Medical Committee as well as supporting the running of the Pastoral Network.

Zenaida Morrison
Position: Communications and Marketing Manager

Zenaida joined Nottinghamshire LMC in February 2020 as Communications and Marketing Manager for the group. Her role involves overseeing all communication and marketing efforts of the LMC both internally and externally and plays an important part in communicating the organisation’s purpose to key stakeholders.
Prior to joining the team, Zenaida worked with the LMC Buying Groups Federation for 2 years and the Clinical Research Network at Queens Medical Hospital as a Research and Communications administrator.
With over 10 years of experience in various industries and a Master’s in PR and Communications, Zenaida hopes to bring her knowledge and expertise to her role as Communications and Marketing Manager.

Raheema Din
Position: Communications and Events Assistant

Raheema has worked for Nottinghamshire LMC since January 2018 initially under a Level 3 business administration apprenticeship. Having worked in this role for just over a year, she gained a wide range of new skills and was offered the opportunity to stay at the LMC in a different role. Raheema is now working as an Administration Assistant for the Phoenix Programme. One of her main duties includes liaising with doctors who have registered their interest in the Phoenix Programme.

Nikki Kendall
Position: Service Manager

Nikki joined the LMC in August 2016 as the admin lead for GP-S. She now runs the growing GP-S service operationally. In September 2019 she also took on the role of scheme co-ordinator for the Roving PM and Roving GP schemes which are run by the Phoenix Programme.

Janet Chester
Position: Senior Finance Officer

Janet is our longest serving member of staff and has been with the LMC since 1993. She is responsible for staff salaries and the office accounts and works part-time.

Amanda Piper
Position: Business Support and Finance Officer
Organisation: Practice Support Services

Amanda joined Practice Support Services as its Business Support Officer in May 2018.
She previously worked for Nottinghamshire LMC managing the day to day operations of the LMC office, assisting with the finance, committee and HR functions and providing PA duties to the Chief Executive.

Ashleigh Beer
Position: Business Support Assistant

Ashleigh has worked for Nottinghamshire LMC since 2016 firstly as an apprentice, then progressing onto an Administration Assistant role to support the LMC’s recruitment and retention schemes including GP-S and the Phoenix Programme. Ashleigh is now taking on a new role in the LMC Buying Groups Federation as a Business Support Assistant.
