Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Ashfield House Surgery

We are waiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our practice team based in Annesley Woodhouse. One of our partners is retiring in March.

Three days desirable: Fridays essential. Start date and salary negotiable. ANP position start date April 2024 We will support the successful candidate with further training as needed. This is a forward-thinking friendly team, proactive rather than reactive, and more tech savvy than most, System One based.

The surgery has 3 partners, namely 2 portfolio GPs and our experienced ANP. A new experienced partner has been recruited to start in January as one of the partners reduce their sessions. We are supported by our practice nurses and HCA and our capable reception team. We are a North Nottingham training practice 6 miles south of Mansfield, close to Junction 27 of the M1. We train GP Specialist Trainees and medical students.

Our patient population is amiable, with ~22% of our patients over 65 years. Home visits can be minimal due to the home visit service, tightly monitored within practice boundary and for truly housebound, generally within 5 mins of the surgery.

Collaborative working is enhanced with clinical pharmacists, physiotherapist, admiral nurse, care home liaison, frailty practitioner, social prescriber, mental health practitioner within the Ashfield South PCN.
