Nottinghamshire LMC Committee Elections Open- Nominations Required!

Committee Member Elections are now open and we require nominations

We are looking for GPs to nominate themselves to join our committee! This is a great opportunity to represent and elevate the voice of GP colleagues across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Our incumbent committee members will complete their term on 11 May 2021. The new term will run from May 2021 to May 2024. We are also looking for nominations from practice managers, practice nurses, sessional GPs, and GP trainees who would like to be co-opted members of the committee which means you will be appointed by the LMC as a member rather than being elected.

If you are interested in joining our committee, you will need to submit your nominations by 11.59pm on Friday 2 April 2021.

Please Note: If you are standing in this election, you MUST get a GP from your ICP area to endorse your nomination. You can do this by sending them the nomination form to fill in. They will need to complete both sections of the form. This will act as an endorsement of your nomination. Please get in touch with us at if you have any questions.

Who is eligible to be nominated?

All GPs, working within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (including Bassetlaw), are eligible to stand in this election. There are also four vacancies open for Practice Managers, Practice Nurses, Sessional GPs, and GP Trainees who wish to become co-opted members.

How many seats are available?

There are 20 seats available in total.

How can I be nominated?

If you are a GP and this is your first time standing for election, or you are an existing committee member and want to stand again, you will need to complete this nomination form. For co-opted members, please complete this form.
